AMARIS DRAGOONS
The workhorse formation of the Rim Worlds Army, Amaris Dragoon regiments are well-equipped and tactically flexible.

Factory: Medium, Heavy, Assault

Reserve: Heavy, Assault

Support: Aerospace Fighter, Artillery, Light Infantry (w/APC), VTOL
Bonus: If Commander skill sum is 8 or better, players may add +1 to Team Initiative. Units in the Light weight class may not be designated as Commanders.

Overrun: In lieu of adding any Team Initiative bonus, players may deactivate Front-Loaded Initiative in the MegaMek lobby. Commander must still be skill sum 8 or better.

AMARIS LANCERS
Formed as a fast-hitting and flexible response team, the Amaris Lancers are highly mobile. As they are typically the first to be deployed in emergencies, the Lancers are equipped for every environment in the Republic's borders.

Factory: Light, Medium, Heavy [M], Light, Medium [V]

Reserve: Light, Medium
Support: Aerospace Fighter, Medium Infantry, VTOL
Bonus: +1 to Team Initiative if all (non-Support) units have a Running/Flanking speed of 8 or greater. If all Commanders have a skill sum of 7 or better, an additional +1 initiative bonus may be added.

Overrun: In lieu of adding any Team Initiative bonus, players may deactivate Front-Loaded Initiative in the MegaMek lobby. Units must still have a Running/Flanking speed of 8 MP or greater.

Infantry Bonus: Amaris Lancers may deploy an additional Infantry Platoon per full Lance.

 

 

 

AMARIS REPUBLICAN GUARDS
Amaris Guard formations are the elite divisions of the Rim Worlds Army. Well-equipped and highly fanatical, the Guards seldom withdraw from a fight.

Factory: Heavy, Assault

Reserve: Heavy, Assault
Support: Artillery, Heavy Infantry, Medium Infantry, VTOL
Bonus: +1 to Team Initiative if army skill sum is 7 or better.

If 50% of the player's force (rounded up) consists of Heavy- or Assault-class units, Amaris Republican Guards may add an additional bonus:
 

Attacking: Player may deploy (1) additional Support Unit per full army.

Defending: Player may add (1) additional Commander per full Lance. Units in the light weight class may not be designated as Commanders.
