CAMPAIGN GOALS

 

OVERVIEW

The Star League Era, most noted for the long period of unbroken peace, was seen through rose-colored glasses by future generations. Although the Member States maintained an uneasy alliance under House Cameron's leadership, a simmering conflict festered beneath the surface of niceties and political intrigue. Wars continued along all fronts, but with little acknowledgement from the League.

 

Factions in the Dominion campaign are jockeying for position within the League council, conquering important planets and robbing neighboring realms of vital resources. These small-scale actions will go unopposed, as long as the battle is limited in scope. But the SLDF is ever-present and ready to defend the realm should a Member State make too much noise.

 

 

 

VICTORY

At the end of each two-week period, point totals will be published and production adjusted for each faction. Factions earn points by conquering planets of varying importance, including Planets, Manufacturing Centers and Provincial Capitals.

SLDF INTERVENTION

 

Factions which have conquered a Provincial Capital or Manufacturing Center are subject to an automatic event at the end of the Period, in which the Star League Defense Force moves to defend the realm. Factions may choose which player defends the newly conquered planet against a Game-Mastered force consisting of SLDF line units.
